Okay... for once in a long time I was having like the perfect game... I was Dominion (Avatar: Breen). I was going agains 3 AIs all on my own, Klingon, Romulan, and Federation. All on AI Medium. Not only that, but I was testing one of my greatest maps yet.

Anyway, 4 hours go by... I'm basically spamming everything just to stay alive against those Romulans, then the Federation turned against the romulans and the rommies were pre-occupied. So, with just 9 Breen cruisers and 6 Breen battleships, I wipe them out completely inlucing their main base and two expansions. By the end of the Federation I decided to save the game.

When I go back in my saved game... the usual Avatar Icon disapeared... not that I really care. But one thing I noticed is that the shuttle traffic of all the existing stations from the point of my save were just frozen in place... aka not moving. Though I ignored this because... I had to be fighting of those romulans spamming everything in my tech tree.

But then two hours go by... I was beginning to expand to where the federation used to be... while upgrading one of my starbases... I put the last upgrade in and then the game would no longer respond to my cursor. :crybaby: And after trying to struggle through it then it crashed. Though that crash report thing never came up... I won't complain about the crash report... it does its job. Just that I'd like an investigation on these things.

I've had a similar problem, 6/10 of my Akiras became un-responsive after loading up a saved game.

Oh slightly off topic, but can I ask how the Federation turned on the Romulans? Is there a type of alliance mode I'm not aware of?...

There is an Alliance mode, but it's neither available in single player (unless you mess with multplayer first) nor can it be used by the AI.

I'm guessing it was a free for all rather than a 3v1

the shuttle problem is known and should be fixed with the next patch
we are still looking for the cause of the cursor issue
