Game Crash

Im running the game on my moms computer. It has Windows XP with the latest drivers and the game has anti-OOS patch.
Basically in the middle of the game, the mouse cursor disappears and the picture freezes, but the ingame music keeps playing. I can not go back to windows either with ctrl-alt-del or the windows button, all I can do is restart the comp.
As I cant get into the Windows I also dont get any error report to send, so please tell me what can I do

I have no idea what causes that, but when it happens to me (rarely, but it does) I use ctrl-alt-del, then right click on A2 in the bottom bar and click close, then end now on a popup box, then wait a while before it closes the game completely.

As I said ctr-alt-del has NO effect on my computer what-so-ever when this happens. And its happening more frequently now, after a min into the game
Please help me!

maybe a temperature problem? or driver conflicts?.. i have no clue, but the game crashed 2 or 3 times now in the last days. so, you're not the only one experiencing this.

I noticed that too.
But in my case it happens to other games too.
And it started to happen after I installed the last update from Microsoft so I think it has something to do with that.
But what to do with that I don't know
