Game keeps asking for the cd???

Hi all I have installed Fleetops into a new folder via the cd method using a cd image in daemon tools.

It installs fine and I installed the multimedia pack 2 also. Now when I run the game everything works perfect untill I hit the launch button, and I get the: Launch Failed, you need your own cd to play!!

Well it is my own cd, not a pirate copy and I made it into an image years ago as it works fine on the original game and FO PR.
I have got out my old cd out from the cupboard and its cracked so I tried to copy my image to a cd, but that also brings up the same message??

If i need to buy a new game then fine, but I dont understand why its not working for this mod so any help would be appreciated.

I had the same problem not 2 long ago and found a way to resolve this.. just msg me if u still having trouble.

Use a mini image.

how can you make a mini image? I'v heard of it but almost never use it whats the point ? how?

A technology...derived from Piracy.

Here is my situation.

A2 won't install, CD cracked (physically).

Torrented A2, installed.
Flops installed.

I'm using my cracked (physically).
Cd to play. It still reads,
I suggest you all do the same.

I know how to make a mini image so it will play without, but I won't show you unless you can prove to me you have a valid copy. I'm sorry to be so ickers, but I don't support piracy.

you say you dont support piracy, but torrented an image of a game? umm... well... yeah... no comment
