Not sure if this is the right thread/area....

Found out by trial and error that FleetOps needs the NVIDIA driver profile tweaked just a bit.

The option that comes standard with "use hardware" should by changed to "Use OpenGL Specification".
Forgot what the option is called. Sorry!

Prevents a lot of crashes.

how is that? armada uses direct3d, not opengl
what kind of issues are you experiencing without changing this option?

The crash is a sudden exit to the desktop. No Mad report either! :pinch:

The setting is the "comformant texture clamp". (Wrote it down to remember!)

(Personal Opinion):

It has something to do with how the game does AA. It is acting like the video driver has nothing to do with AA.
The video driver supports OpenGL v3.0+ which does have some overlap with DirectX. 'Shaders' comes to mind.
The cloaking transparency effect is pure software rendered. (within the game or DirectX) Doesn't even try use the GPU.
If you build a lot of cloaked ships / stations it becomes obvious.
