Having problems opening game

hi was wondering wat i should do i not long downloaded the FO game to try it out but when i downloaded patch 3.1.5 i have be unable to open the game. Keeps telling my it cant locate  fmodex.dll now if i uninstall this patch and just install 3.1.0 it will work fine. Could someone help me with tis problem?

welcome tot he forum britair, hope you enjoy your time here.

i recommend uninstalling all fleetops, deleting the install folder. then install the current version and current patch.

the current version is 3.1.4, the current patch is 3.1.5

i possible cause of that error is that you installed 3.1.5 on top of something other than 3.1.4, which doesn't work. 3.1.5 must be installed on 3.1.4
