Help with Audio Issues

Hey, I don't know whether this problem has been asked before, but I will ask anyway.
How do i get the sound working, because when I am in the game, I cannot hear anything. All of the sliders on audio settings are up full, and I have downloaded the multimedia pack. I have had this issue before, a couple of years ago, and i thought i would try out Fleet Ops again, but I still have this problem.

Does the sound work when you use speakers?

Have you checked the windows audio mixer?

And can i assume correctly that your headphones work with any other kind of playback?
