Ingame Map Editor Bug

Hi i keep getting CTD wen switching to map editor while ingame i dnt thinkive dne anything the the map editor stuff so dnt know wots gone wrong

Hm.. this never happened to me so far. You sure you didn't change any odf's and got a typo in?  :sweatdrop:

nope just copied the race files of the cardassian race i was working on in 3.1.5 and the racde works fine just wen i enter map editor (while using any race eg fed vs fed)
didnt copy the map editor files yet

Do you have an editor-odf for the cardassian race?
Are the sprite-files correctly inbound? Does your freetech-file include the cardassian techtree too?

Check the smallest spots for the smallest errors if you cannot think of bigger ones which sneaked in silently to kill your game :shuriken:

Is it possible you overwrote the ctrl+e hotkey?

aint touched the hot keys and never linked the cardassian editor file with map editor in fo3.2.2 (editor files were fully kept seperate) so that shouldnt cause an issue also happens when i start map editor from the main menu

Ok bug found was because i had accidently turned the cinematic window switch to on when testing the new game option switches

On another note in the editor, I have noticed the small blocking trigger no longer puts a sphere outline anymore, all you see is the footprint. Makes it kinda hard to remove them when you cant see them.

The blocking trigger is not officially supported and never had a sphere outline :) . Use it rarely to make best use of pathing and lag-related issues  ^-^
