Installer crash

Ok, Im getting a friend to get fleet ops, but the installer keeps crashing on him.
his box's specs:
windows 7 64bit
24gigs of ram
Radeon HD 6950

he reported it just loaded a white blank screen and closes.

Anyone have any clue as to what could be the problem ?

Not sure which, I'll ask him later today when I catch em online.

That said, Ive seen the same problem in another friend with a higher end system earlier in the year (not relevent tho as he basically refused to try to work with me to bugfix because he thought stock A2 was to horrible for flops to be worth it)

The whole screen turns white?

Whole screen, he tested it on a XP box and it worked, suspects it's his graphics card.

very strange. more info about his graphics setup would be helpful (graphics card, number of monitors, resolutions etc). also at which point the whole screen blanks? does he see anything of the actual install screen before that?
