Has anyone else encountered this problem before? After a battle I sometimes give my fleet a Priority Repair order, but as they queue up at the various shipyards to get fixed, ships sometimes get "stuck" inside the station. Other ships can't get in to be repaired, and the only way to get those ships out is to decomission the shipyard and build it somewhere else. Has this problem turned up for other players?

has been reported already here:  //www.fleetops.net/component/option,com_smf/Itemid,3/topic,5075.0/

and is listed on the todo list as:  " Fix shipyard 'hang-in-repair-queue' bug"

I had this problem in one game and solved by forcing another ship to shoot on the "stuck" ship. The ship, mind you, NOT the shipyard. Way cheaper than decommissioning the station.

You can also just selct "stop" for the ship that is stuck.

I tried the "Stop" command, it didn't work... I'll try firing on the ship next time. Good to know it's already on the list. :)

That would never work, the whole point of 'Priority Repair' is that it ignores every single order given to it inbetween being sent to the yard and the repairs finishing.

I have had on occasions had that happen (ships getting stuck in line  and the yard). One way that works  most of the time (for the inline problem)  is to  click on the affected ship  and try to move in/ out of line  after re adjusting  all the controls to green. then hit stop and manually move the ship.

Actualy that is not right ty. Pressing stop "stops" the priority repair command

i've got a stuck ship line but upon further observation, the ship in the Dock had OVER 104% shields.  i had to click on it and order it to go out of the yard.  now, as for how 5 ships in the group have shields OVER 104%, i have no idea, i can only ASSUME, it is a rank up glitch.

Ahah. I forgot that.

Yeah, that's what happened to me, too. That's why shooting at the ship worked. It moved the shields below 100%, so the shipyard put them correctly at 100% and spit the ship.

i have already taken a look into that and it is not a problem associated with rankup as it seems. that the shipyard doesn't want to let the ship out of the yard however is indeed that the health is above the actual maximum. that will be fixed in the first place. sooner or later the shield over maximum issue will be found and solved also.
