Howdy. When I run the FleetOps.exe file and get the launcher, it crashes when I do almost anything. I can go into the options menu, and adjust settings, like music, etc. but when I click "previous menu" to go back, the launcher crashes. When I go into Instant Action and click Launch, it crashes. I can load up a mod (which for me is the original Armada 2 mod) without it crashing, but when I go to options, launch an Instant Action, or one of the Single Player story missions, it crashes all with the same dialog box. "An error occurred in the application. Please help to improve Fleet Operations, send us a bug report via email." I admit I haven't "sent" any bug reports because I'd be flooding their email with as many times as I've tried different settings. Anyone have a clue? If you'd like I can post the bug report(s) that the error box gives me.

Thanks for any help!

Click the Option that says to Save the Bug Report and actually post it. Also take a look at the sections when viewing the report it gives possible ideas to what's causing the crash. You don't have to send the bug reports to view them yourself.

Okay, I attached the .txt log file that was created on the crash when I loaded the launcher, chose Options, then Graphics Settings. That's when the crash occurred.

Going to be honest with you, I've never seen a Bug Report saying that information. I'm wondering if your install is corrupt or if your drivers might be out of date. I've sent you a PM with something that might help.

I came across another person on these forums that was talking about similar issues to mine. They mentioned changing the Armada2 exe file itself to run as admin and compatibility to Win7. I did exactly that as well, and now everything's working fine. So, hope this helps people in the future and sorry if someone else already said this somewhere.

Yeah, I know I'm coming late to the party but that Access Violation happens when Fleet Ops tries to read a file and can't. If you're modding and you get it, it means you made a filename too long. If you're on Windows 10, it probably means your computer is restricting the game from reading its own files somehow.
