It's probably just me going overboard with weapons, but I keep getting a memory crash at fairly consistent intervals (around 45-50 minutes into every match). The minimap sometimes vanishes, but in every case the screen stops refreshing and the visuals go haywire unless I pause the game and unpause it. I've heard this usually happens in FO games that last very long periods of time, but I find it a bit too coincidental it happens almost exactly at the same time every time I play as a certain race. I attached the log and maybe that might point at what I did wrong. ![Drop :sweatdrop:](/forum/images/smilies/sweatdrop.gif)

Any lead as to what I might have done wrong to cause this crash? ![Drop :sweatdrop:](/forum/images/smilies/sweatdrop.gif)

I see two possibilities. Either an ODF is buggy and the AI tries to use it almost always the same tine (if you let the AI develop, it always develops with almost the same speed) or you generated a memory leak in the game, but that should be indicated with downgrading performance first.

I suppose I'll look through the odfs and see if I can somehow spot something in the load of them. There's no downgrade in performance or lag before the problem happens, the minimap just randomly disappears (though not always) and the screen stops refreshing and causing all sorts of insane visual effects. I can usually extend the game another 10-20 minutes if I pause the game the second the screen goes out of whack and unpause, but eventually it just crashes regardless.

I'm still receiving the out of memory crash, remarkably almost at the exact same span of time after a match starts (34 minutes). I've been through every odf about twenty times and even after fxing some errors I still receive this memory crash. Sigma is pretty much at a total halt until this is fixed, so any help is greatly appreciated. I've attached more logs since I feel they are the only thing that would point in the right direction.

Hm, the stackdump shows nothing conspicuous, and that is about the only thing normal human people can use.

Hm, well, I can tell you that the second set of crashes are happening in a different place from the first one. It looks like the second set happen when something explodes, although I'm no expert on A2 internals. How are craft explosions done? Could there be an error in a mesh somewhere?

sorry for my very late reply on this one.
i am not really sure either what is causing the crash here![Tongue :P](/forum/images/smilies/tongue.png)
at that point armada tries to allocate some new memory. since the value it assigns isn't very high, you may actually have reached armada's memory limit

Yes, TUN and I discussed this a bit, and apparently out of several of us, he's the only one to get this crash as well ![Drop :sweatdrop:](/forum/images/smilies/sweatdrop.gif)
