My minimap shroud is broken?

Hi, recently I downloaded fleet ops and have played it so far the best races i'm good at playing is the borg and the feds... 

but the one thing that was irritating me that I THOUGHT it was part of the game was the shroud, till recently  i came on here for the very first time and saw some of the maps had a black fogyish screen for their shroud so my question is this,  is my shroud broken, have i downloaded or copy/pasted my files in wrong places? or does everyone  have this kind of broken shroud as i do?

Also I've checked the other shroud bugs, but none seem to be similar to mine

It isn't broken... its normal for Flt Ops. Because the devs hated that thick grey.... so they replaced it with a texture that renders as blank...

Gamer is wrong. Shroud doesn't work unless you have the graphics slider all the way up. Since my video card isn't powerful enough for that, I just turn the shroud and fog off when I start a game. The devs are aware of the shroud problems.

the shroud issue on other detail settings than maximum will be fixed in the upcoming patch
