When I host a game (LAN TCP/IP), no one can see it. Does anyone know how to fix this?

You check your firewall settings?

Tried it. Still doesn't work. Any more ideas?

did you check it on both client and server PC's? I recommend just turning it off, especially if it's the windows firewall. It sucks anyway and most people have hardware firewalls built into their routers which are much more effective anyway...

recently we have had similar issues while playing on lan. turned out that hamachi made its ip the primary on all computers. disabling the hamachi connection solved this problem i think. - actually we uninstalled hamachi at first, but i think just disabling the connection from the network preferences worked for us later on too.
if you have other virtual network adapters installed like from virtualbox, vmware etc these may have a similar effect. disabling them may then solve your hosting problem

Hamachi making its IP primary also leads my internet to spontaneously die on occasion... I only install it for "special occasions" now because of that :(

yes, quite annoying. i think i have had a lot less problems with the older version of hamachi (1.x). this problem doesn't affect armada only, but also other multiplayer games seized to work correctly in lan.
