Ok Ive not been able to do much flops for a bit due to work.

Had the day off so this morning I played some SP to get back into things.

So I assim a descent class, but JUST as Im about to finish stealing it, my NPC ally steals it (it has like 5 ships all beam in at once).

Of course I mouseover and hit the A key to kill the bugger for it.......

Then the NPC suddenly goes hostile to me.

I've never seen that happen in flops or A2 that I can recall, a NPC switching and going hostile to you like that.

If its a bug, add to bugs section if others can reproduce it.

If its new, cool.

If its old, I'll be facepalmed at.

Probably is a bug, I've been attacked by my allies before. Never when attacking their ships, though; they normally attack stations I've captured.

In stock A2, I've seen a player's own units fire on each other before without any orders at all.

If you have your game set to alliance, then attacking a few allied ships will cause the allies to turn on you.

I have not yet been able to replicate this, but if someone can describe a way to do so, that would be most excellent :)

EDIT: typo

Sure it wasn't one of those special weapons?
