Phaser Flares

hey guys..been a while since I posted on here...even though this isn't a technical issue about FleetOps, its a technical Armada2 issue...After playing the FO3PR I wanna add multiple phaser flares to my own personal A2 mod...I've added the appropriate sprite entries and such but the "lensflare=" command doesn't seem to be working? Any ideas from the gurus about this? What else do I need to add to my weapons.spr file?

lensflare = .. should only work in Fleet Operations. I'm not sure if it is possible in A2 to create and use custom lensflare sprites. I will check that

Try flaresprite = .. . I remember to not use it because i think it has something to do with one of our older crashbugs. but be free to try

YES!!! Flaresprite is exactly what I want it works perfectly..thank you Optec..and good mod...lol...thanx for the help
