Resource oddity

A short time ago, I was playing the game and was suffering a severe resource shortage (I seem to be cursed with always being low unless the game is already over...) and saved and quit.

When I loaded the game up again, I had over 4000 of each resource and never had to buy more Supplies... Not that I'm complaining, mind you.

... I think... the computer felt bad for you and granted resources...

doesn't happen to me, I did the save/load thing many times but I never got a resource boost. I guess you got lucky

does this happen when you play with a specific race? do you have made modifications to the version you are using?

I do have a number of mods in, and it's only happened once.
