Romulan Extra Abilities Bug

I was playing a multi-player game on Chrome  (Star Trek Armada II: Fleet Operations - Gamer's Map forum).

I have a control group of 3 D’deridexs plus two Tavaras, but notice I have the special abilities of the Norexan (Multipurpose Weapons) and the Cehlaer (Disruptor Bombardment) on my toolbar. I'm relatively certain that my control group was using the Disruptor Bombardment (but not 100% sure).

The control group previously did have Norexans and Cehlaers, but they were destroyed in combat.

The veteran ability of the Tavara is to blame

It gives her all the warbird special abilties that have been researched

This isn't a bug, but the vetern ability for your Tavara, called Matriarch something-or-other.  It gives your tavara all the abilities of the other warbirds, providing it's been researched.  A powerful ability indeed!

And I'm back, guys!  It was kind of nice to have a break, actually.  I'm still pretty busy this week, though.  maybe on the weekend I won't be as much and I'll start playing again.

Edit:  Oh em gee!  I reply to my first post in a month and dominus beats me to the reply!  You weren't even on when I first logged in!  Do you have some kind of radar that tells you when someone's just posted?!!!

Oh jeez, have I posted that much??!  *shudders*

Maybe I should stay away from Fleet Operations for a while... who am I kidding, I can't stay away
