Shroud bug

I recently downloaded FO 3 and got the 3.0.5a patch. When I start a game, the shroud and fog don't appear. I still can't see anything in the shroud, but I can't see where the shroud is. I haven't encountered this problem with A1 or 2 before and I have no idea what to do. Any help would be great.

welcome to the forums, cabal. i recommend you increase your graphics detail setting to maximum, then it should work.

It showed up, but my video card isn't powerful enough to play with the graphics that high.

may i ask what graphics card you have?

sorry to interupt, but is that the problem, cus I have never seen the fog, in FO.  Even on the Mini map.
If so Ill try it on a newer comp and see.

Processor: 1.8 GHZ
Graphics Card: Intel 82845G/GL/GE/PE/GV Graphics Controler
RAM: 512 MHZ

Not exactly the most powerful computer ever, but I've never had problems with it before. The game runs smoothly with the graphics slider at the second notch and the screen at 1024x768x32.
