Did you make sure the Textures are included thst the emitters.spr references? Also what ship or station is causing it? You might want to comment every weapon from it and work down the list till you get the crash again and isolate it from there. If it's a ship or even a station and you don't comment out the weapons you'll have to isolate from shipyards or Starbases and make it unbuildable totally.
You could also be missing ODF files referencing shields, weapons or almost anything. Many of these things have Textures and could also be missing.
You could also be missing the explosions.spr additions for Future Wars because they've even added to that file.
Those that made Future Wars just happened to add a lot.

Hi Stardust. If you interested, here will find more ST Armada 2 mods to play. Some are under construction, others are playable from the FO Mods folder : https://www.moddb.com/games/star-trek-armada-ii/mods

That's weird the game doesn't delete files, your Anti-Virus Software would though and that's because it hates FleetOps and sees it as a virus because the Devs injected hooks into the game's exe file. Ever since that my anti-virus software constantly deleted files from FleetOps and quarantined them. Had to make the Anti-Virus ignore all of FleetOps.
You might want to see if that's the case.

Never had that problem before; still, worth looking in to.
Does anyone have a working copy of Future Wars? I find it interesting that I've seen screenshots of gameplay for it, yet when I try to run it, its like Armada 1 on the lowest possible graphics setting.
Some example pics.

and this one's my personal fave

Just by looking at those pictures I can tell you they are staged and also from a version of Future Wars that doesn't work for you, they are from someone lucky enough to get the exe install file to work I'm afraid. Plus since I actually have a working copy of Future Wars (except with the occasional crashes because they didn't fix all their crashes) some of those ships aren't in the mod, especially the Carrier Group. Plus the creator of the picture states they aren't in Future Wars but his own personal mod because he removed some of them from there.
If you're having graphic errors with it, then it might be your computer's hardware or the pictures are using ships and stations in different Mods.
