The Romulan ships have a tendency to uncloak the instant they're told to cloak and then I can't recloak.  This has to be fixed!  I found this bug because I had attacked an expansion, then I was trying to get out before reinforcments arived.  I told my ships to cloak, which they did, but they all uncloaked imediatley.

And the Romulan Staryard is way to expensive.

The yard cost isn't too different to the others, and has the ability to reduce the cost of turrets that already start off as the cheapest.

What about that uncloak bug?  I lost my entire fleet because my ships uncloaked when reinforcements arrived!

May be you clicked 'cloak' twice, without any interruption vessels sometimes react to this by uncloaking after successful cloak. Due to the cool-down time, they aren't able to cloak again that fast. Try cloaking and then immediately shift-clicking R (so they cannot do anything except for going for repair OR stop)

The cloaking part I don't know about, I haven't got it so far.

Did you have any ships attack the enemy while the others were cloaking? I have had unselected ships decloak if ones near them attack.

I took out 3 dilithium mining freighters, enemy reinforcements came, and I cloaked out before they got in range.  But almost all of them uncloaked while I was getting the ships out of the area.  The enemy vessels did come in weapons range while I was cloaking my fleet.

That explains a lot. If your ships were not told to straight-repair (shift+R, they'll ignore everything but stop) after hitting cloak, firing enemy vessels may have caused sitting ships which just cloaked to uncloak and engage.

Since cloak doesn't affect alert status anymore, they would still be in an aggressive mode.

I found a work-around.  Tell the ships to repar, then cloak.  Vise-versa seems to trigger the claok bug.

You had rhienns, but i had brel's, so manual targeting was in effect aswell remember

How should I know all of the passives?  I don't play that often.

Manual targeting allow the brel to continue shooting cloaked vessels, when there cloaked, theres like a 50/50 chance (i think, unsure) it can keep firing on the ships

I don't know all of the passives or what ships have what, but if you're going to play as Romulan you might want to take the time to know what ships have the ability to cause you trouble. Say, for example, something equipped with a passive that almost completely negates your faction's greatest advantage in battle.

As for ships uncloaking, manual targeting should only allow recently cloaked ships to be fired at rather than forcing a decloak. If this is a bug it would be nice to see a fix, since giving the cloak command after ordering repair usually makes the ship stop moving.

The rhienns all cloaked at once, i had about 9-10 brels attacking some of them

I have also suffered at the hands of this bug, i think its when 1 of the ships in your fleet gets attacked the other decloak to fight which i find annoying as it gets everyone killed instead of just 1 vessel. it looks as tho we have double clicked cloak but that is not the case. I also think that double clicking cloak should be sorted also make it so there a delay when clicking the button so you cant accidently do that, would be a great help when the games are laggy.
