Weapon Effect Texture/Sprite Issue

Hi all. I have a little problem with a weapon explosion that I've used just fine in stock A2, but it's not working properly in my A2 mod in the FO mods folder.
It's the Dominion long range artillery explosion effect that I use for my artillery ships weapon explosion effects. I apologize for not posting the odf files this morning, but I can after work if needed. Long story longer what the issue is is the explosion texture shows only about 1 frame of the effect and then slowly fades without fully animating through it's sequence. However, the other issue is that a larger half opaque square texture appears on top of that and looks pretty funky. I've added the proper sod filed, the texture file and the proper entries in the sprite files to my knowledge, but will double check everything again to be sure.
I think this is a similar issue to the original Classic Mod where the Romulan Warbird shield inversion beam texture was a white, half opaque box in place of the proper texture? Is this something of a conflict of files due to being a mod of FO?
EDIT: Found an example that Blade had posted in another thread. When my weapon detonates, the texture lightly appears, but doesn't animate and the larger opaque square texture is on top of it just like the Rom Warbird weapon texture I've attached. Not sure what causes this or how Blade fixed it?

EDIT 2: Disregard the above. I discovered a misplaced sprite entry and now all works fine.
