Weapons not Firing

I actually have 2 bugs here.

First, in a game against Eraldo, 2 of my Griffins would not fire on his 3 Breen Cruisers.  They were in range, they were on red alert, all subsystems were functional, and they were ordered to attack.  But they didn't.

Second, in another game (but it was yesterday, so I don't remember all the details) my Romulan fleet attacked Boggz's Dominion fleet.  I could hear weapons firing, and see the effects on shields, but I couldn't actually see the weapons themselves.

That could be related to the cloaking bug. Sometimes weapon fire and asteroids (and perhaps something else?) get invisible when cloaked ships nearby. I guess that they generate so big cloaking field that it cloaks everything else nearby too :lol:

Yes, for the second error, I'd assume that Zebh's explanation is correct. Usually this occurs much more frequently if there is a nebula in the area and cloaked vessels in the vicinity :)

For the first bug, are you positive that your Griffins had sufficient energy? Any other things occur at the same time then?

I'm afraid I don't believe you.  [sarcasm]Eraldo would NEVER use Breen Cruisers[/sarcasm] :D

 And yeah they did actually hit me so I don't know what to tell you :(

Energy as in special weapon energy?  They should have had the default minus 15, since they came out of cloak to attack.  The only other thing happening was those Breen Cruisers attacking my constructor, and my Rheinns going toward his base.  They were cloaked, but not near this, and there wasn't a nearby nebula.

Yeah special weapon energy :) . Sometimes (rarely admittedly) I hit the Sensor Jammer button before cloaking... or cloak one too many times and then don't have enough energy. I'm just searching for a non-bug reason before trying to find a possible bug reason  :sweatdrop:

Ughh... I'm not alone! I have been frequently having problems where my ships would not follow the attack order! Weapons and engines functional and everything. I can set them to move but they won't shoot at the enemy! >:( This frustrated the hell out of me!
