I'm curious to know if the 3.06 works on a wireless network. As if I'm on a wireless connection and I wanted to play someone on a wired connection, can I just do an LAN game or will it have to be an internet game?  :ermm:

* P.S. I want to know so that I can pulverize other players with my 1337 Borg Moves!  :borg:

I think that you can play LAN games between computers in your wireless network. It shouldn't be any different than with wired network.

Be careful if you have a router. Some routers allow port forwarding rules for only one IP at once. So use a statical IP or check your rules (or DMZ settings) everytime you enter your WLAN. Otherwise you will be told "Hosthas been lost" if you want to join a MP game.

sounds just like a regular network game for me, doesn't matter if you are wired or not

Yes, there shouldn't be any problems, because they mean "network", when they write "LAN" so its your choice wheather your connection is wired or not.
