Wormholes

Something that i have noticed whilst playing Instant Action, is that when a AI gets attacked and retreats through a wormhole, the ships get stuck? they are at the other end of the wormhole and they do not move/attack and the wormhole remains active (open).

Sorry if this has been asked before, i have now clocked almost 100 hours in the last 3 weeks on instant action and the fleetops.net and could not find anything describing this?
Its not a big thing really, i use them to level up my Akiras as they become pretty aswesome.

I can confirm this bug, an ai that retreats becomes in-mobile once they pass through a wormhole. i have no save game though :(

yeha i have a saved game, however not sure if this continues when u reload a game? i shall try and see? how would i upload this? its not a permanent thing btw, after a couple of minutes they will move again later? as i said it is not a big thing lol

Also going back to a previous post i read, i am having a problem with some ships that have lost their crew exploding a couple of minutes after they lose all their crew.

I can say I see this all the time. Try turtling on Allies by the wormhole and it becomes a levelup field on the other side, like Drewview said. I send my Generix through so I can get a veteran, then upgrade it to a singularity when it gets there.

The thing with the exploding ships is normal. There is a timeout before they blow. Like 10 minutes. I think it is to save memory (this game is almost 11 years old!)

Although I personally have not seen the issue with exploding ships, I do know that is a feature of Armada - I am not sure how long derelict ships last before they delete themselves.

The derelict explode timer is easy to test, just make a simple map with some derelicts and leave sight on for the whole map. turn on fraps and go make yourself a cuppa

Still would be nice to have a saved game for ships stuck in wormholes ;)
