Wormholes causing OoS?

Butterbread just put forth the idea that maybe it's a wormhole issue causing out of sync errors.

He pointed out that he really only sees it on FF2 and my new map Champagne Supernova, both of which have a single pair of wormholes.  Other maps don't seem to have the issue.

Worth checking out

Yeah.  Halfala was actually watching and said that the first OoS occurred right as an Intrepid of mine entered to North Wormhole on Champagne Supernova.

I've used the wormholes before without incident, but it's certainly worth a looksy :).

So that means that my "Wormhole flood" idea should not be attempted?

probably not, i dont know what you mean by wormhole flood, but i hate wormholes and i hate floods (water floods, parasitic flood etc) so i vote nay.

yes, we have other maps too which seems to work without any problems, but so far we haven't found anything unusual on final frontier 2. it's worth a try

I was just in a 2v2 with observer, that turned into a 2v1 (two people got disconnected.) An out of sync message repeatedly came up about every 30 seconds starting from about 5 minutes into the game. The map was Nebula Gate and I was Klingons, with a Romulan ally, and a Federation enemy.
The out of sync message seemed to always appear as I was selecting one of my units. Also this may have no significance, but the Federation player was unable to locate a scout they had for cloak detection (may have just been killed by my fleet.)
Before the out of sync messages began, two of my ships had lost life support and were drifting.

Looks like wormholes aren't the sole culprit.

On the homeworlds map we got oos right when Arash went through a wormhole, yet it works just fine on my Andromeda map :D

We had oos in the nebula gate map, Borg, Dominon, Klingon players vs Borg, Federation and Klingon AI.

The few times I played I only encountered OoS if there was an AI in the game. :P

wormholes on old fleets ops 3.1.1 and lower don't work

wormholes created in 3.1.2 work fine without oos

.....

I'm not sure what this means ....

Wormholes 3.1.1 and lower have always worked.  Just had another OoS on Champagne Supernova though.

Wormholes are unstable, it's a known fact.
There have been numerous reports of units losing their contact with the commanding center, after passing through a wormhole.
If you can't help and start issuing orders to units to go through a wormhole ... tough luck.
