Sorry if this is a repost.

I have an XP SP3 system and I can play Armada 2 just fine on it's own. I've tried installing Fleetops from CD (no Armada 2 install) and from Armada 2 folder, i've tried playing game with CD in and without and tried both of these options using Fleetops 3.14 and 3.15 and all still same result.

What am I doing wrong?

Oh and when I close the launch window (because I can't get game to work) It tells me Fleetops has encountered a problem and needs to close.

To start a game in IA or in Multiplayer, if you're the host, you need the armada 2 CD.
The crash/error on exit is a known bug and will be fixed in the next patch.

welcome to the forum pendragonite.

i see you say you have the disk in the drive but it still says you need to insert the disk, thats very weird.

have you tried using a nocd crack (perfectly legal as you already have a legit disk)

If he still has the problem while the cd is in the drive, it might be a good thing to check with which cd/dvd-player you installed the game. I found out that you need the cd in the drive with which you installed the game with.

If that doesn't work try downloading a disk image, mount it in a virtual drive with something like Daemon Tools, install from that image and then just mount it whenever you want to play.

Works for me.
