Do you have one in mind? The Reman Saif Battlecruiser and Katan from Bridge Commander have been converted. These are Raven Night's design and both are great looking ships. Models and textures are by LC Amaral. Here they are in case you haven't seen them before.

I was hoping something more along the lines of a small cruiser. A bit smaller than a Griffin in size. I was thinking of maybe something with horizontal wings like a Griffin but can open up like the Scimitar. The wings when open would reveal several disruptor banks that would be otherwise hidden. As for the bridge section. I was thinking of maybe having a variation of a D'Deridex style bridge section.

Maybe it's just me but the Atolm design you post looks way more Protoss than it does Reman.

Good Lord Pepperman. I remember seeing your early work when I first started modding A1. Always looked gorgeous.

Looks ten times as gorgeous now. You're the reason I like romulan ships  keep up the good work!

:) :) Many thanks for the compliments. I certainly have a passion for Romulan ships. This one nears completion. I have pretty much finished the textures now and will begin setting it up for release. I'll release the model files in the package in case anyone might want to make modifications, hopelly improving either the model or the textures.

Going to call this one done and package her up for release. Poly count = 5552 with 5 texture maps. Plenty of optimization could be done to tighten up the textures and the like but I have run out of time and real life has a nasty habit of getting in the way.

If anyone wants to set her up for Armada 1 or 2 and/or Fleet Ops, drop me a PM with your email addy and I'll send you the files.

I'll release the model files as well as the textures and grant permissions in the read me for editing (either the model or the textures). If any one puts her in game, feel free to add an image or two to this thread to show the ol gal off. :)

Filefront is being a royal pain. Those who are interested can find the mesh and textures here.

I have created a second release that maps the mesh groups to a single 2048 x 2048 texture map. This version of the release includes 3dMax and Milkshape versions of the model which have been mapped to a single 2048 x 2048 texture file. High (2048 x 2048), medium (1024 x 1024) and low (512 x 512) version of the texture file have been included. I also included a similar set that contains an alpha channel. I didn’t spend a lot of time on it and admit some improvement could be made. I’ll leave it to you all to set it up for the respective games.

The second version is also available at MSFC. You'll need an account to get it from there and the MediaFire links probably won't die any time soon, but it's there.
