Breen vs. Tholians

This is a rather self-explanatory (and hypothetical) question: Out of two very curious but underdeveloped races, the Breen Confederacy and the Tholian Assembly, which would you rather see developed further in Fleet Operations?

I'd love to see both races developed, but I don't think we're done with the Breen yet. It's unlikely they only have two classes of ship, and I've never been fond of integrating races into each other. A race powerful enough to directly attack Earth is likely a well developed, high tech one, so deserves its own place in A2.

I would actually most want the Tholians to be expanded. I do not know much about them, but I think they would be kickass if they were to be in the game. With their webs and their cool triangular ships.

The Tholians would be very interesting!
Though Doc is right here about the Breen. There has to be more and as they fit the time-line and actually are already a part of FO I think they should have priority.
But after them... I'd like to see more of the Tholians! 
I skipped ENT, so I missed the episode(s) with the Tholians and I only remember them from TOS. I like the idea of taking a look at a race which wasn't seen for decades in the Trek-universe. What will they be like? Will they be explorers, warriors, strong or weak?
And of course their web! That would be a nasty special-ability

what I would like to see is a treaty race because we don't have much to go on you could have like the breen tholians feringe and others in as one race in like an alliance of lots of sub races that would be one of the coolest things in the game like on race made of many because we don't have the amount of stuff we need to make them into one complete race that would be really cool

Kind of like the dominion? How would you plan it out... which races in other words? Also how would you go about constructing ships and stuff: a yard for each sub species or....

You may notice that despite many similarities as far as size, isolation, and general mystery go, the Tholians have been much more thoroughly explored in licensed sources (although in this case, that isn't saying much).  My personal theory is that this is because, unlike the Tholians, the Breen do not share a border with the Federation, nor has the Federation even truly expanded in that area of space.

To DN: This is, at this point, a merely hypothetical question.  Were the Fleet Ops team to take notice of the idea and somehow implement it, the technical aspects would be at their discretion.

yes like the dominion but more diffrent not all the same design of ships like you have a feringe starbase and a Tholian mining yard, weapon research made by the breen but it affects all "alliance" ships and an alliance ship yard that builds all each races ships and well you get the idea  this would be cool

The Breen fall back to their military isolation just days before the fall of Cardassia. Since the end of the Dominion war the Federation was unable to contact the Breen government or even a slightest vessel. All alien vessels that enter Breen space are attacked without warning.
Of course the Breen have noticed that the Dominion presence in the Alpha Quadrant was eliminated, but they never heard of the "fall" of the great link and the stable peace between the Alpha and Gamma quadrant. With the aid of two.. quite unique.. founders who moved to the Breen Homeworld during the war they started a program to reconstruct a fleet worthy of the Dominion return, which will - of course - happen someday.. at least they do think so.

In the Fleet Operations universe the Tholians are no longer a stellar power. They live in a hand full of colonies spread across three solar systems. They have an intact peace treaty with booth the Federation and the Romulan Star Empire for more then hundred years now and do trade here and there, but cause the Tholians are more.. "spiritual" creatures living in crystals with no exact material body most of their trade goods are to no use for other species and on the other hand they do not need stuff like food, ale and spare parts. They are a cast-away and isolated race, happy with their peace and silence. Until one day...


In conclusion booth species are quite isolated, but will play a mayor role in the Fleet Operations storyline. Booth will be featured as mayor NP Races (they will have a complete tech tree) in a future release
