I believe in single player there were some crafts that had to be protected and had special powers.

yea, but that were single player campaigns...

ok iv been giveing this alot of thinking and... i think haveing the Borg as they should be would make u want to fear them, But when your the borg you would chuckle as your loverly, expencive, huge, cube of destruction smashes in to fleets, and watch it assimalatin begin :-)

ok that would be a bit unfair, but if u did make it alot more expencive, slower, then i think it would justify this, and hey how many ships could u build compared to 1 cube + the special weapons it would be a even match,

maby we should have a vote? on who wants the cube to be big and bad, or under sized, weak, and not a threat lol well thats my point of view

the philisophy of our mod is to avoid overpowered ships and a borg cube cannot be as frightening as in the show just because it's a game and it only could be frightening when it is really overpowered and that would be unfair. and it is also no real fun for a borg player to watch a big ship beeing build in 2 or 3 minutes.

ok fair anuf u have a point, but i would like to see the normal cube stronger, if anything,

i really like this mod, nice work its hard to get a balence, betwean how powerfull u want you cube and game fairness, true i probibly went over board with the idear of the cube smashing past fleets.
