Which race do you like most? What do you like - what you don't like? Discuss it here.

This is my first anti-human strategy. I hope you like it.

This strat is Klingon-Only. It assumes that have full technology. For it, you will need 3 Bortas Class ships, 4 Vor'chas, 8 K'Vorts, and 8 B'Rels.

First of all, set your Bortas Fleet aside. Then, group your remaining ships in this way: 1 Vor'cha, 2 K'vorts, and 2 B'rels each. This gives you four fleets. Send each at an enemy mining outpost.

Your enemy will naturally send a couple of ships to engage your fleets. This should drain his base of reinforcements.

Timing on this part is critical. Before he builds extra ships, send your Bortas fleet at his base. Use the Artificial Ion Storm weapon on his turrets. Then run. You will usually use a couple of ships doing this. Don't worry about it.

Your enemy has now noticed this and has diverted his ships back to his base to destroy your remaining Bortas Class ships. Now, send your fleets after them. Annihilate them on their way back to base.

Send out your remaining Bortas Class ships, and attack again with Ion Storm. Most of his turrets should be gone. Use the weapon on his base and remaining turrets. Then run again.

As soon as this Ion Storm clears, send in your fleets. His base should be severely damaged. It will be easy to destroy.

I tried this on a person online, and it worked (I don't know who. I wasn't paying attention). I just hope it works.

I dont think it would work on me either, then again I've seen some crazy things in this game.

Whoever I played fell for it, at least. He sent his entire fleet out to meet my fleets, and I completely annihilated his base in two waves.

And for tougher players, you could increase fleet size and add 3 to 7 more Bortas Class ships to your base attack fleet.

The funny thing is I would fall for it, I dont watch out for these things. Then again I would'nt leave my base undefended.

That fleet even the upgarded one could hurt my fleet very much.

Works best on maps with a small entrance to the base. While you might have, say, a small fleet and 10-20 Defence Platforms, at least 7 of my Bortas Class ships (out of a fleet of 10) will make it in and use their weapon. Now, you may get your fleet out of there and destroy my remaining ships, but the damage is done. It takes 30 Seconds for an Ion Storm to destroy a Defence Platform. Imagine what 7 piled up on one another can do. I will have knocked out most of your front line. Then, my massed fleets will head in and engage.

I dunno, by the time someone made a fleet like this it would be very possible to be the one who starts with a pre-emptive attack. By the way thx for telling me your plans for future referance if I ever come across you in game. :D

That's why I would distract you. And if you didn't fall for that, I would surround them with high attack value ships, so they don't get hit unless you target them. And by the time you do, it will be too late. Even if you do, you just lost 4 Mining Outposts. Watch your resource income slow to a crawl.

And to TMP Rules: I always change strats constantly. This was just my "Strat of the Day" a couple of weaks ago. I thought it was cool, so I posted it.

Sure Valorous, sure.

I'm not kidding. I write all my strats down and keep them filed. I switch between them randomly to be unpredictable. Trust me, it works.

Isnt that a little excessive, plus I have never seen someone who switches strategys every game, it's always the same or nearly the same strategy every time you play with them.

I dont know how you would kill my mining out posts since your ships would never get close enough.
