First of all i don't want to sound rude, i really like this game/mod.. it's my favorite of all time.. just amazing, but may i say what i think could make it even better? (you may agree with me or not, just puting my thoughts)
I saw in your priority tasks many new models to do etc.. but i think that this mod has come to a point that need to put these stuff in low priorty.. because it just beatiful really.
So i think you need to focus on the fun factor like: making ship maneuvering during combat (like phaser miss when firing on small ships), or making some kind of objectives to win in multiplayer (even map objects like ships and stations), interaction with other races or figures and making gestures for the shows (like the grand nagus come to your base with a ferengi ship and making you a deal, or garak came to you with a cardassian shuttel (i love them, where are they?) telling you he needs your help transporting cardassians from a plenet in an enemy territory, when taking ds9 like station from the cardassians- they can be map objects, and you're federation, make it posiable to launch runabouts from there etc.., making the planets more interactive and meaningful (like exploring them and they give you something) etc..

thanks for listening

The team know how to manage their own project. =) The number of new models they have been creating has been quite low recently, compared to the number of new features.

Phasers do have a chance to miss when firing on smaller ships. And with anything, if the target is moving, the chance to miss is higher. It's already there.

I like that idea... Though it does seem a little Single-Player to me. In Multi-Player you don't want things distracting you from the Primary Objective (kill the other guy).

kfir wrote:interaction with other races or figures and making gestures for the shows (like the grand nagus come to your base with a ferengi ship and making you a deal. or garak came to you with a cardassian shuttel

Again, these things really are more for Single-Player missions, I think.

kfir wrote:cardassian shuttel (i love them, where are they?)

Along with everything else Cardassian, it's not in FlOps. Maybe later.

Again, that would be Single-Player missions (which are planned for a future release, but damn difficult to do, so not gonna be happening soon).

I'd have a search through the forums and look at all the other threads about planets...

i for one do believe that the Klings need a makeover of textures and models.
The current list seems to address that. It would be rather presumptuous to tell the mods how to prioritize their own work, since they are creating the list of priorities after listening to the entire forum.

But im sure your views will be addressed by them as well :).

yah I agree with Atlantis, and serpicus. the Devs know what they are doing, and, Not to be rude, but if you find it booring, it isn't their fault.  Really tho I didn't mean that pesonally, cus the "the game needs more features not graphics" topic has been brought up before. ^-^

you see, i'm sure that you, like me, play armada for many years, and new variation in gameplay always can bring much more fun and enjoyment right?..

Actually, the way it is FlOps has a lot more variation in it than Stock A2. A LOT more. But people seem to want even MORE, and then complain that their normal strategy doesn't work any more.

can u cite an example?

Of the new variation, yes: Experience, the Borg construction method/modular ships. Ship refits. Hyperspace Artillery. The variety of special weapons. Fighters and carriers.

Of people complaining that their strategies don't work any more: Look all over the forum, at people complaining that such-and-such a race is too weak. 95% of the time, it's just because they're doing the same thing they always do, as opposed to playing the race to it's advantages, and someone has replied to that complaint saying "Actually, I can win against Hard AI as this race, so you're wrong." To cite examples, look at many of Ray430's Federation threads, and how his opinion changed when he learned to play them properly.
