How Often Do You Play Fleet Operations?

Hey-o: just wanted to see what the Fleet Ops community was like, because it seems as of late that few people are playing online, and I was curious whether this is just because those folks have been playing Instant Action to learn the races, or have instead quit alltogether

You know, I thought with the new patch and summer and all, I would play More often, but it has actually had the opposite effect.  I still love to play, but I just don't find the time.  I'm more focused on my personal mods then playing.

I rarely play, it crashes in almost every game I try.

I play every day, but, unfortunately, my comp with FO is not online.

Interesting: during the school year I was generally able to play either several times a day, or usually at least once a day... now with the beginning of summer (and hence summer work) I actually have a lot less time, so I am limited to a few times per week (I suspect I will have time mainly on the weekends), which makes me

I play often but unforunately in online games I keep getting player has gone unresponsive and have to quit so I gave up on playing online. I would give it another shot but I play 3.05a and not 3.06 with the pre patch cuz of the explosion bug....But maybe once 3.07 final has come out I will give it another shot.

No I am talking about the memory lag with v3.06 that me and some others have aka the save game explosion bug...durring a game after I have destroyed a number of ships in the same spot the game will lag when I veiw that spot again....for example if say I have a prolonged battle at a chokepoint as more and more ships are destroyed at that point the game lags horibly and does not recover...if u save the game then reload it you will see the last frame from the explosion graphic displayed for each explosion....I like prolonged matches and this bug tends to ruin the game.....there are several topics on the tech board about this and the devs have said its fixed for the 3.07 patch but if I read the pre-release info corectly this fix is NOT included.

...but of course that is singleplayer: no reason not to play online (other than your aforementioned unresponsive problems... could that be due to router issues)

I would play more when 3.07 comes out as long as it addresses the issues with Borg costs and the massive lag that starts to occur over time in certain sections of the battlefield because of the explosion bug....

Myself I  am not playing online  to My internet provider's Crappy  connection speed. Downloading  or trying any thing else  is Extremely SLOW. Paint would dry faster than the  connect speed is . The lag is  about 3-6 seconds. Not very condusive to good game play.

I am currently playing online more than I ever did! I got a couple of friends to start playing and now I have a 1v1 partner, and we tend to be fairly equal in terms of games won so far. Unfortunately we haven't had any epically close games yet :/

Romulans versus Federation is always fun though

Dont have router or home network just the pc into modem into wall to ISP who are IDIOTS!!! I have the proper forts forwarded and my firewall allows FO thru. Maybe its Lamespy? I never have issues with playing online with my ps3...
I have a 1.3mb conection so that should be adequate right?

Btw I would not be the unresponsive player..the error always Indicates the other player or players as being "unresponsive" then I wait for the 45 seconds for them to become responsive again and nothing happens?...Its weird. I get to the battle map just fine...build a few things then get so and so is unresponsive.

If it is gamespy, then see if hamachi works and join one of the FO networks.

i don't play online anymore cause no one is online anymore. and because i hate lamespy.
