The easy steps to glorious victory:
- Get coffee (a strong one, you played so sleepy in that game  )
- Read the build ups as described in the guide, and follow them.
- You got too much resources, build another field yard extension, or another yard, or give them your allies - if you need resources, just ask.
Now the how to win part:
- Scouting scouting scouting
- Raiding raiding raiding (and some trapping with team mates)
... you just won as klingons.

My recommendation is to take quick decisions for or against raids. You need to know/guess where the enemy is for this. Depending on his position you either go for his mining (probably with a split fleet) or fight him near one of your yards. Dont let your ships hover around...you will lose the economic race therefore destroy eco or ships. Most deadly to a klingon player is going from A to B without destroying something but especially player unfamiliar with Klingons tend to pend between offense and trap : ) (this is also a self-observation)

I recommend to play one or three games employing just a standard kbq and kvort game and trying to just get the hang of how to handle your klingon units. I find klingon and romulan gameplay often very different despite the two races both having cloak.
Personally, I tend to play a defensive klingon. Scouting in critical positions is king and knowing when your enemy attacks to exploit being able to intercept him at your yards is a major advantage. This reactive type of gameplay favors games against less aggressive opponents that don't move out very much in order to strike any weak point of the enemy.
witty opponents will quickly turret all their moons in some way or another, preventing you from getting easy kills with just a few ships, requiring you to often attack with your full force instead of only with a small raiding force. The only thing you need to be wary off is a fully fletched fedroll if you attack the other enemies almost exclusively.
Cases in which the enemy splits up their fleet is always a prime opportunity for you to thin out their numbers, setting up "traps" in which you stay behind a small detachment of an allies fleet with a much larger force is a effective strategy as well.

Now go and bring some glory to the Empire!

Here's a test commentary that I did to see if people could here me while recording. Whether my team won is debatable and have fun trying to figure out all of the avatars! The test concluded that players in the teamspeak channel could hear me while recording, but they were not picked up by the recording software.

Here's test commentary B. Again, my team lost!

few constructive comments i will make after watching both of them.

i think the problem your having is that your commentary isnt really there most of the time. i think you need to see how Yandonman does it. take note of the kind of stuff he says.
(i think it could also be that he comments on games hes not playing himself, (just an observer when commenting) so he comments on the whole game, more to talk about that way)

also the match was abit lack luster. not much happening apart from the ending when it ended quickly without much happening. some more skirmishes would be better so harassing the enemy more is needed.

Thanks. But at least I know that I can have a co-commentary if I want.

Unfortunately I have to agree Tchap, just not enough "comment" in the commentary.
