Tyler wrote:Non-canon is irrelevent here; we're talking about the name of a non-canon ship in FO and what it was named for (you claiming it was you, which is also a non-canon source as you are not part of Trek canon). Canon was never involved in this. A non-canon Kestrel Class is quite on-topic.
The second paragraph is about fanart, which is different from a model. A DIY model, but still a produced model.
I was joking about it being named after me the dev already said ships are not named after any forum members and yes became about cannon ships read back and take a look, now youv gone way off topic and i not going to continue troll feeding.

Joke or not, it was still the topic. I was still on the original topic since canon didn't join, which isn't trolling. We should probably end it anyway, I doubt there's anywhere else to go is there?
And it's spelt canon, you keep mentioning the large weapons instead of what you mean.

I always try to think the ship names ( like kestrel, scorpion, scimitar..) are translated into our language..cause if they weren't, 99% of the federation ships would be named after something from Earth..
And I keep wondering why I am fooling myself, because of the 150 planets of the UFP, all ships look human. 80% of crews is human. 90% of captains is human ( also counting those with óbviously human names ). I mean, the star trek directors/writers start naming ships after La Malinche, or after Shakespeares wife, before they start naming ship after what, say, the Andorians consider important.
Especially for the Dominion war we can pretty much say that UFP = Earth.
