... It is more efficient to just use one of your usualy 4 moons for supply... Since your just gonna waste the reosuces you collect off that moon on the supply your not getting anyway. At a higher cost to you than if you where just mining for supply with the ketrecel facility.

usually i use one of the Tri moons and that works out fine

well, you'r screwed if you only have two moons.

I have 2 Mining Stations by each moon in the Main Base with 4 freighters per moon, and a Supply station between a pair of moons close by with 1 maybe 2 freighters per moon.

Same here, I ususally go with three freighters though to avoid congestion.

I don't seem to get a congested base, do you have all stations together or 2 on the left side of 1 moon and 2 on the right of the other?

Personally, I spread them out.

For example, I don't turtle, so I get MORE than 2 moons.

This is critical to playing as the dominion.

The ideal is to have separate moons for each.

E.G.

Mining station with 3 freighters on a Trit.
Mining station with 3 freighters on a Dilith.
Ketracel with 3 freighters on a Trit/Dilith.
Ketracel with 3 frieghters on a Trit/Dilith.

How quickly do you expand after that? I can't imagine that you get very far with only 1 di and tri each, not to mention only 3 miners per.

I just go for straight mines after that, the supplies are covered for the game with that approach.
