Ive played the mod and its pretty good, im very dissapointed that some great features were left out, like warp (even though the 1.1 patch has the option to disable it!!!) and Cloak for the defiant which most mods add.
I cant work out this credit thing, seems pretty silly to me coz it seriously restricts how much i can build which takes alot of the fun out of it, i personally like long games and building up huge bases for some brilliant fleet battles, The only thing that should restrict building is the size of the map!
Great textures, I like the maps too, nice effects with asteriods etc and removing the grid!
This is deffinatly a top ranking mod!

I do miss warp but only one Defiant class had a cloaking device. Actually there was only 1 Defiant class made during the Dominion war if I remember and havent heard any more about them. Yeah with unrestricted building, things can become pretty intense.

There were at least 2 defiant class ships. The USS Defiant and the Admirals defiant class ship that he gave to sisco after the breen destroyed the USS defiant. The romulans gave starfleet a cloaking device so the defiant could travel without being noticed in the gamma quadrant. If you want to keep it cannon then it should have a defiant hero ship with cloak but the cannon was removed when they made the borg as weak as they are! LOL

NO WARP. This should be put in a pinned topic. It is mentioned in many places.
Also, NO CLOAKIN DEFIANTS. The only cloak given to the Federation was destroyed on board the Original Defiant when it exploded. There will be no more Federation cloaks. None.

I know theres no warp but there should at least be the option to turn it on for the people who enjoy adding new elements of strategy rather than the slow, chessboard style strategy.
It has left me very dissapointed, alot of the gameplay and fun has been removed, Its looks great but with that credit thing in place and that the devs of this mod have pretty much forced their opinion on ayone who uses the mod about warp i dont really want to play it, i know ill only hit a dead end in an hour when i run out of credits and im forced to attack.
IMHO this mod would be near perfect if it had that credit thing disabled instead of warp

Yeah warp should be brought back,as an option. Valorous let down your dogs, hes new...

Warp just takes out strategy. If you want warp-like speeds, use Scouts, Destroyers, and Light Cruisers. These units can do significant damage to an enemy using hit-and-run tactics.

Yeah I guess they could, thats not a bad thing about time the smaller ships get a chance to fight without any help. Of course with people even against bringing back the warp option on/off option even tho it wont hurt anyone against it, we wont be able to use this strategy.

So many strategies depend on no warp. It should not be put back. Not to mention the Cannon Factor, and the fact that it is unbalanced.

Also not to mention it is cannon and it worked in A2. NOT TO MENTION I WANT A BUTTON TO TURN IT OFF AND ON ARE YOU BLIND?! LISTEN 1 SECOND I WANT A BUTTON TO TURN IT OFF OR ON SO YOU WONT GET OFFENDED! WONT THIS WORK?!

OK. Maybe with a button. But if it makes setting up games longer or delays B3, I won't stand for it. And it is NOT cannon. Not for these distances. It ruins game balance. It ruins many strategies. It is stupid. I will continue to repeat this if neccesary.

Go ahead your jibberish is irrelevant. It is cannon and frankly the thought if warp in a star trek game wrong hilarious. It worked out fine in A2 and it would in this mod. Perhaps a gravity well genrator will silence you? a big radius and post them next to your base so no one can warp, including yourself, will shut you up?

No, it will not. Take the idea to Doca and Optec if you wish. But they removed warp, and are not likely to put it back..
