Atlantis certainly had its good points.  Remember that episode where McKay using the ascension device and he can read minds?  Then he has a discussion with Sheppard and Dr. Wier, but he's reading their lines?  And Sheppard says, "You know, it is a lot easier this way".  That was pretty funny.

The show had a lot of potential.  They should have abandoned the whole "we have no power" arc, and instead had full power, but need to be mobile, and end up having an entire season where the city is in space!  Wouldn't that have be cool!?  I should write for this show!

ooo city in space sounds cool, maybe for the movie, ditch the wormhole drive, and have atlantis playing cat and mouse with a zpm superhive in space. they win of course in the spectacular end of season episode.

And be sure to have an episode where someone informs the angry Asgard that they are the last of their race, and the humans have the entirety of Asgard knowledge, and their most advanced equipment on a ship that they got shot to hell on it's maiden voyage.

Would be hilarous to see little grey men with battlesuits THAT pissed off.

what do you mean. the vanir( pegasus asgard) know that their are the last of their race. and what ship got shot to hell? the odysee with the entire legacy of the asgard made it home with little damage...

actually it had its shieds collapsed and consoles started exploding on the bridge (universal sign of ship damage ) it took damage, but correctly did get home in one piece, presumably repairable.

Yep.  When you can't turn the shields back on, and your keyboard exploded, I call that 'shot to hell'.

I just don't think the pegasus asgard would be very appreciative of the location of all that's left of their people.

but it seemed they didn't really care. the vanir are not the asgard known from the ida galaxy. there more like the asgard from the mirror universe. kinda evil or selfish

To answer the original question Armada 2 Files: Aurora

I absolutely love this ship, inside and out, especially the bridge as seen on the Orion, which sports the massive panorama windows. I have the one linked above which is for the stock game, I would love to see a set of odfs for FO. If I'm not mistaken I had to tweak the ScaleSOD variable to make it visibly fit the stock yards. As it stands the ship is way overpowered, three of these can take down everything, including the enemy's base and suffer almost no real damage. It comes with approximately 2300 crew but has weak life support and has repair speeds slower than molasses in January. But I still love it.

Thanks for the link. Putting out a set of FO-style odfs will be tough; the readme doesn't seem to have either permissions or contact info as far as I can see.

Do you really need permission to release a new set of odfs as long as you don't release them with the original model and textures, etc. but rather say, "You need ____ from ____ to make it work"? (Serious question.)
