DS9? About 7000, around 300-1200 of them being Starfleet/Bajoran Militia. The rest would be civilians (and likely evacuated).

Good lord. It just never seemed like there were that many people from watching the show... then again most of it took place in Ops/promenade.

I dont get it...
Why do I need the miranda for DS9? And when I imort "both", how can I build DS9? Or is it just a map-object, and if so, how can I get this running? Until now, every objekt I laced was gone at the game start, even when I set it as zero-crew so that it is debris.
So, what files do I need, where do I have to place them, how can I make this thing run and maybe, how can I edit them?
How are the stats of DS9? Is that with or without upgrades of offense/defense? Why mixed tech? Can I place one of those mixed tech stations all alone as map object? ...
Also, it would be VERY nice, if this station is able to level up, like the romulan intelligence center. For every level up, you might get extra offense/defense/system and maybe special weapons, but you cant buy offense/defense pods, like for starbases. If this unit is limited to a single station er layer, it would be also nice... I dont know, how to manange it to do so...
I never moddet, but I think it goes this way:
- Open the "DS9"-File and edit the stats for leveling up, giving additionals weapons and describe, how the stats are on each rank
- Choose every avatar, place in DS9 for every avatar and set the limit to 1
- Edit for every avatar this station, so fed/kling/dom/rommi and borg
- put in a button for the construction ship in order to be able to build that thing and place the specific station behind this button
- It should run

You don't, the Miranda comes with a modified sprite file that allows non-FO models to work ingame.

That probably means they're on the wrong team. They disappear if you don't put them on an unused team (such as team 5-8 on a 4 player map).

You can use any station or ship in the game as a map object, as long as it is in the Map Editor list. They are the odf's that start with 'edit_'.

Backward compatibility for most 3rd party Armada 2 SOD model files improved to allow usage without further file modifications"

Tyler wrote:Terok Nor was a Starbase that was capable of multi-tasking, like any Starbase its size probably was.
It processed ore (which it didn't mine itself), it was a heavily armed command centre for the occupation, it worked as a resupply outpost and (going by the civilian businesses) dealt with commerce in the sector.
It was not a star base at all... it was an ore processing facility and it was not heavily armed when the Cardasians occupied it that's why in the 2nd episode of DS9 the commander of 1 of the 3 Galor class ships said DS9 was not even a match for 1 of our ships. After kira told O'Brian to put some interference out so the carddies couldnt see that DS9s pathetic array of weapons was down.

Of course a ransacked and intentionally crippled station wasn't; that was the whole point of screwing it up before leaving!
No mere Processing plant has civilian businesses and people setting up shop, and it was also the seat of administration (in other words, the HQ of the occupation). The thing was armed, like any other Starbase.
Processing Plant was only its more well-known purpose, because of the Bajorans many horror stories about it.

Nope.
Haven't a clue how to run make those, and besides, I made this to work with FO 3.07. 3.1.1 has changed a number of things that would take a while for me to understand. I personally think we should wait around till the devs get to work on their FO Cardies NPC faction.

I presume you are running Vista or Win7? If so, you'll have to run the game as an Admin to allow saves to go through UAC (or shut off UAC)
