Can we take this discussion to another tread maybe? Plus I'd like to go back to saying how good Tyler's ship is... and maybe fixes that need to be done?

Why another thread? It's a perfectly valid discussion about Tyler's mod. I agree with Tyler that lots of windows doesn't = big crew automatically.

Hmm, many of the windows could possibly be those of labs and/or hallways

A number of those windows could be simply crew quaters... Not that many of them, but still

call me Little Lisa Simpson, Springfields answer to the question nobody asked!!
in my humble opinion, i love the Shadow class. phase cloak, shield recharge, the kill crew beam. i forget the dumb 4th toy, but i never used it.
it is truely a awsome ship i miss playing FO.
that said, it is awesome to see it again, but it does have too many windows.

UGH! Please! That is what makes it look good! I never seen one that looked as good.
The stock special abilities are way out of line, too much for one ship. If I get some special abilities workin for it I'll put up an updated copy. But seriously, without such good textures, it be worth an upchuck.

the 4th toy, thats the one that "fooled" enemy sensors into thinking every ship around was a enemy ship and caused them to do a mass friendly fire. while it worked sweet for the computer against me, never really worked to my advantage.
does anyone have "stats" for the shadow class? something that would indicate how many deck's it has? trying to count the window rows, i get to the high teens but get lost.
One would think that the Romulans being a more secretive race, would limit windows. dont wanting prying eyes peeking in the windows seeing what is going on.

The only canon Warbirds the Romulans have is the D'deridex and Norexan Class, and neither of them are exactly short on windows. A lot of windows doesn't matter as long as they keep important rooms inside the ship and not buy the hull. That could also help them seem 'innocent' when they need to (if you can ignore the overall look of the ships, that is...)
The 'secretive' side comes from spies and the cloak, which make the number of windows meaningless.

Well, i have one thing i really need to admit ... the more I think about it the more details in the ST universe and especially Armada 2 become ridiculous.

I'd like to add this into my game, but I think I'm being a bit thick... I've added other ships before, but all they involved were copying files into folders i.e spr into Sprites folder, ODF into ODF folder and so on.
I downloaded this, but looking at the readmes there seems to be more to adding it than that, Or am I wrong?

As long as credit is given in the readme of whatever you release (or including the original readme works just as well) you're free to convert my mods all you want, it's nice to see some of my mods reaching a wider community

I'm glad you all like the Shadow btw, and you're right maybe it does have too many windows, I based it off the D'Deridex and Norexan, which both have loads of windows (plus it has a higher crew in my personal install lol).
Keep up the good work anyway Tyler

Surely you haven't only just noticed that...
