The guide has no 30%, but it does have 0-10% (Input.map and techtree files) and 50% (AIP files). Might as well start with those.

What about missing script files for the mission?

Why would there be missing script files?

If I forgot to copy them to the Mods directory with the rest of the files.

Well, I've basically shot down the Input.map file and AIP files.  This leaves me with the techtree.

EDIT:
Well, I corrected the techtree, but that had no affect.  I checked the Input and AIP files and they were fine.  Still crashing.

If you're using the new mod support, beware that it doesn't load AIPS and such atm.

Well it still needs everything A2 needs to run. It would just be a mod of a mod that is basically the original game.

I just question posting that on a site. In theory it could be extracted and used elsewhere

Same with Fleet Ops surely? I don't understand the different.

It's not like anyone can take the files provided by a "Stock for FlOps" release and run it by itself, bypassing the need to buy A2, so there's no problem there.

If you credit the whole thing to Activision, and make no claim to have created anything (as you're not creating anything, only porting, so that's all you can claim credit for), then it would probably be within the rules for most places.

You would still require the A2 disk.

Considering that you still need the disc to play Fleet Ops, I can only answer this with a quote of one General Jack O'Neal, Stargate Command.

"Ya think?"

Well, with the latest patch to Fleet Operations, following a copy of the Armada2 directory to the mods directory, this time, it crashes the moment I try to launch one of the stock Armada 2 single player missions. Will update as to if it does the same with instant action shortly.

EDIT: Instant Action games crash on clicking the launch button. Odd that it actually started loading the missions on the previous version, but not on this one.

The reason i say that people might question it is because in theory someone could uses pieces of the mod like the artwork, the models, or the sound effects wither or not they had a real copy of A2.
