On the Warp nacelles? I wonder what kind of effect that could have...

well there could be a weapons system on the outer wing.

Probably, though it could enhance the warp field.

true, arlterium does come from dilithium ore. how they would work this into a game without warp is interesting.

maybe it could allow the new ship to use the picard manoeuvre :P

or something funny with the warp field.

Nice Ship! can't wait to see that in action...

It's just me, or that ship looks like a Mini-Norexan?

It's probably you. It looks way more similar to the Generix (in a more Nemesis-like style), just.. a lot better.

well all romulan ships seem to be based on birds in some way, so they should look similar. i like the new ship's look too.

i'm personally rooting for support ship. i want more romulan supports and specials.

Well yeah, but you still can differ shipclasses in basic design arrangements (or would you compare the Norexan to a Leahval in design?). And this new vessel looks - ignoring size and shiptype which are yet not known by us - like a more modern version (or even a successor) of the Generix, because the Generix still looks more like I'd expect a TNG romulan vessel to appear (colouring and hullplates).
This new vessel looks like it could have been around since Nemesis (colouring, hullplates and those fancy warp nacelles).

the norexan and leahval both resemble birds, they both have wings lol. they both fly. they are both green. thats all romulan ships really.

this one does look similar to the nemesis romulan ships. but that doesnt bother me. cos romulan ships do tend to share looks.

And still the designs differ quite a lot. It's like with Starfleet vessels where almost any ship has a saucer, two nacelles and a primary hull. Same elements but each design has its own basic arrangement and / or some extras like a third nacelle or a pod.

A Nebula and a Galaxy do look different although they share the same components. Feel the difference?

The Galaxy and Nebula ones are related, similar components is to be expected. Starfleet vessels tend to vary a bit more than Romulan ones, each era has its own unique style.

I personally like the idea of more Nemesis-like style Romulan Ships, with those hull plates that resembles feathers

If this ship replaces the Generix will be a great idea!
