Must be paranoia. The Star Empire's so over-cautious about everything.

I keep seeing comparisons to the Generix in design, but nobody seems to notice the obvious; it looks like the Raptor from stock. Could the Raptor finally be joining the Shrike and Griffin in FO?

Wanna know something even more obvious? The Generix already looks a lot like the Raptor. While it may be the Raptor, you cannot go by looks alone.

Doesn't the Raptor more or less look like a mini-D'Deridex without the lower wing?

Yes, which is also similar to what the Generix looks like. The wings are just a little flatter and in a FO style rather than the TNG one.

The Valdore also looks an up-to-date D'deridex with 2 wings instead of 4, which the ship resembles.

Agreed.

Are you sure? To me, the Valdore has a partially similar shape (let's say around 70%) but it has so very fundamental detail-differences that I would never see it as a D'Deridex-split-off or even an up-to-date version. It's a modern warbird-type, but no D'Deridex-anything.

I meant in terms of the model, the old D'deridex was never shown as detailed as the newer warbird. Like the difference between a TOS Enterprise and a remastered TOS Enterprise.

This may be possible.

Yes on all counts, but my point was that it was odd that nobody was reminded of the older design other than me. Does nobody play stock or mods other than FO anymore?

Anyway, the curve of the wing seemed more Raptor-like than Generix-like to me, though it is missing the little tail that the Raptor has. I wish I could get another view.

Im going to say Raptor do to that its been in the guide for many months now that its inclusion was inevitable.

Intelligence Report: Romulan Star Empire - The Hitchhiker's Guide to Fleet Operations
The Raptor is planned for a point in the future.

And i've noticed that the neck is split like the Griffins and not like the Norexan and D'Deridex but the head you can tell right away screams Raptor.
