I'd have to agree that it is a little too powerful, or just used too much, I find myself fearing the site of the bugs more than the more 'powerful' battle cruisers.

Just wanted to point to my question on the previous page once more, as there hasn't been an answer yet:
Star Trek Armada II: Fleet Operations - Fleet Operations 3.0.6
Ah, and one "select all ships no matter what rank" bug I found, don't know if that one has already been taken care of:

i just assimilated some vor'cha classes.
i want to select all of them by double clicking on one of the ships. But it doens't work cause of different ranks.

I think I found a ship that slipped your update... it was cloaked, I presume.
The regular Vor'cha (avatar used was Martok) doesn't work this way.
It seems all other Martok vessels, including Federation mixed tech Vor'chas, are double-click selectable with different ranks.
Playing Risner recently (latest patch of course, but not .7), I've noticed that this isn't working with any ships

10 ships can level a Starbase, 5 a shipyard ... but it doesn't work everytime haha
How about making it so the ability is only possible when the ship is below a certain amount of health?
I would be all for leaving it how it is, as I mainly play instant action and it's a nice challenge but the AI doesn't have the option of misusing them as a human player does.
It's a very dominion-like feature, but I'm nit sure sacraficing ten whole ships to take down a starbase is quite their style

Could an fed-specific upgrade implemented, that when health drops below 10% (?) the system value is increased for that period?
In fact, that would not mean anything for balance (since most these ships are virtually dead. Pun intended). As a fedish end-battle ability mirroring the romulans initial advantage to a slight degree.
Reason for it would be the fact, that during ... any ST episode/Film ... vessels were on the edge of destruction, the cunning of the captain and the resourcefulness of the engineers "to jump of the devil's shovel" meaning: to cheat death.

the issue about the bouble clicking to select any rank i think its a spelling mistake in the odf code.

actually its a referencing missmatch, caused by the compiler that generates the ODFs. will be fixed with 3.0.7 soon

I've also noticed something out of the ordinary, this only happened once though so I think it was just an anomaly. But I've noticed that my opponent Dom had a veteran Interceptor, that thing fired a poleron beam that destroyed a starbase instantly when on full health. It took 1 Descent and 3 Sovs to take it down. It had crazy sheilds but it blew up when the sheilds buckled. On the same game a Klingon Vor'Cha that was cloaked PHASED right through a Rom base! I know this because it got trapped in the construction area and couldn't get out until I attacked the base and destroyed it. I think you have to check the deeper parameters a bit... or not.
But it was very weird.

whilst i feel the new yard good it does show up some of the other models textures more specifically the hq station as being a bit of a sub-par mismatch. but i cant blame u guys for prioritizing game features over models/textures art etc

we are working on new models to replace the old ones. Models will be replaced constantly with future patches

Well, so far I've heard the argument that the Borg, Klingons, Romulans, Dominion, and Federation are too weak... so as far as I'm concerned, if all the races are underpowered, I guess they must all be balanced then

The key to Klingons, really, seems to be focus on their 'canon' ships. A force of B'rel, K'vort, and Vorcha is devastating to almost any fleet, and can be deployed rapidly. Back them up with Negh'var on base defense, and base assault, and there's not that much that can reliably stand up to them unless they actually manage to grossly outnumber them. Klingon damage-output minimizes the need for their durability by killing the enemies before they can do much damage. The speed they can mass-produce the two birds of prey means that outnumbering them is difficult.

I just tried downloaded the 3.06 ver and trying to install it with Windows 7 64 bit. I keep getting an odd error "NSIS Error, Installer integrity check has failed. Common causes include incomplete download and damaged media. Contact the installer's author to obtain a new copy. More information at Nsis Error". When I decdied to write this I decided to try the download on my windows xp machine of my daughters computer and that gives me the same exact error. If you look at the armada2 files you can see the file size is -1 bytes so I think the file is corrupt, is there an alternate site to download this file?
