I'm loving the Vupta's new missiles. I never use troopships, but now Vupta's are my favorite Klingon ship in FO.  :thumbsup:

Can someone tell me how the Klingon Yard works now? I am afraid to play as Klingon without knowing which extensions to build or not build.

And I may be assuming things wrong, but when Doca said something about the Construction cfg amongst the different extensions. Does that mean that the different parts would be needed for different ships? Or are there variants in the different yards?

Different parts for different ships. The central part (which used to magically appear once the Field Yard completed, but now builds just like the other two parts) builds K'BeajQ, the left side builds Birds of prey (Both B'rel and K'Vort, I usually build this part first), and the right side builds either Sus'a or Veqlragh depending on your avatar.
The Starbase for Klingons no longer builds K'BeajQ also, so the only true combat ship you'll get from it is a support ship (which has exactly twice normal build time, making it take longer than anything but a Tavara or Phalanx to build.) I strongly recommend you expand your field yard at least twice, that way you get a decent array of ship classses.

just to clarify nebs post:

the yard when built can build nothing at all. so its quick to build.

also the unextended field yard can only repair ships built at the field yard (kbq, brel, kvort, susa/veq), when you expand the yard you will get a normal repair facility which u can do ally repair at.

so u can choose what to build.

if ur enemy goes for all long range stuff then u can go for only bird of prey yard and make brels, ignoring the middle extension which builds kbqs.

u will need the field research in order to do the special forces extension (which gives susa/veq) and to build kvorts.

each part of the yard costs less resources than before too. so its cheap if u only want one type of ship.

thats true, its a lot harder to spam those now as only one yard can build each. unless u build another expensive field yard and expansion.

Hmm.... I would guess it is more worth trying to spam Battleyard ships now. :whistling:

most people who build battle yard tend to just make vorcha as they are so useful. i mean qawduj can now be made from kahless station.

I must say, that I like the changes to the Klingon early game.  At first, I was afraid it might screw them over or make them too powerful, but so far it doesn't seem like it has done that.  And it' really gotten rid of early game ship spam, so I'm really happy with that.

I must say, I LOVE weapon fatigue.  You guys have done great.  I also love the change to the Heavy Weapons Platform! :woot:

true but it uses up the time that your kahless station queue was sitting empty when all ur miners were built.

i agree with everything mal said. klink changes were awesome. new drone weapon photon rack looks awesome.
