Hey Optec,

Great work on the ship.

I was wondering if you could possibly post an image of the underside. (A big one like you did for MaP). Because I feel that we're getting only half the picture when it's just the top section.

Thanks

Of course, here we go :)

Remore Class (1600x1200)

Notice that the refit does now also have a deflector!

:omg: :omg: the glow from the deflector is incredible exactly the right brightness. looks like torpedo tube detailing directly under it.
lol you should be carefull not to set standards too high for V4 ;)

Emergency Combat Maneuvers are always useful! And yes, for the final time (I hope), COOKIES ARE TASY AND GOOD!

I think it's Electronic counter-measures, not "emergency combat manuevers"!

*looks at Remore pic*
Why are there windows on the bottom of the hull??? Does deck 18 have windows on the floor or something???

I found the REMORE useless, not the ECM. And yes, cookies are good.

if you found the remore useless that kind of covers the ECM ability as well  :P

the bottom part kinda looks like it curves off so i'd say those windows are windows for the lower decks rather than floor tilling lol

Actually I don't use the Remore... actually I don't know why... (The Remore isn't that useless at all...) - But as it looks that great now I might think about building one or two just to look at it :pimp:

Great work!

I was wondering if you guys pay much attention to the scale of these ships in comparison to eachother.
Because the Remore's windows make it look like she is getting close to a Sovereign in size, and I'm just wondering if that is how it's supposed to be.

TIP, IF I MAY: When you make a ship's texture, make sure the windows are about the same size as other ship textures. This should help maintain scale.

So, when you have a texture and applied it to a model, put it up against another model (preferably a canon design) and see if the windows are similer in size.

If not, you have two options: 1) change the scale of the model. 2) you can modify the windows on the texture.

I hope this helps.

The Bottom of the Remore looks pretty flat to me...

To Optec: Is that the new Galaxy model?!? That is aruguably the best Galaxy texturing job I've seen in any Star Trek game (or mod) PERIOD.

you have no perception of depth then do you  look at the galaxy example put up by optec and you should see its the same.

...not really....
The Galaxy's curve is not pronounced, but it takes a blind man not to see it. Also, it has enough decks in it to warrant the windows. The Remore, on the other hand, has a slight curve, but not nearly enough to contain three decks in a very small area, which the window pattern dictates.

the shading is too dark to tell how steep the curve is. not that i'm isulting optec's pic (wich is sooo cool BTW), it's just too dark to tell.

Actualy, thats not true. Look at the point where the primary hull ends and the nacelle hollow begins. If you look closly, you'll see the sihloette of a shallow curve.

but the curve could get thicker as you look over the rest of the hull.

maybe i should get my glasses checked because i still can't make it out

I just noticed that the Remore nacelles are an original design. Kudos to the staff!
