A lot of people have been asking me some things lately and so I just want to explain a couple of things.  The first is why beat was disqualified.  A number of days ago I send Beat a message stating that he was taking too long to have his match and that he had until 8/30 to complete it or be disqualified.  He did not complete the match nor did he respond and after asking around it was determined that he hasn't shown up in a while.  So for the sake of the tournament continuing he was disqualified.  I than asked Nuke to take his place in facing Blazing.

The second thing I want to clarify is the final match.  The final match will be a best of three.  It will be a one on one.  Once we have 3 people left, one person will be randomly chosen to move onto the final while the other two face off against eachother to determine who will move on.  The final match will be played on Duel II.  You can not use the same race twice in a row.  However if you go into game three than you can if you want use the same race as the first game but not the second.  And finally the final match which includes at least two out of three games MUST be recorded.  It can't just be observed.  How this will work out will be figured out as the tournament reaches its climax. 

The last thing I wish to mention is time.  The tournament only has a few matches to go until completion so I ask all competitors to please have your matches and not delay.

Hmm, so one lucky person goes straight to the finals?

Why not do it similar to the opening matches where there were groups?  Have them play several games, and the top two who have the most wins go to the finals?

i agree with mal, group sounds fairer.

There will only be three people to do it like the group stage would only prolong the tournament.  And while you can say that they were lucky to be randomly chosen.  You also need to realize that the person who is chosen has already survived out of a group of 25 which is now down to three.  So I do not see it as being that unfair.  This set up was decided before the tournament began so there is a 0% chance of it changing.

  nice!  I played with Clint a couple times(not in the tournament) and have heard butter is really good, so this should be an interesting match up.
