What about someone types down a rule set up on a pdf which can be updated by the creator?

i need to know what the rules are and how far they can go. and it's based on a what if scenario as i never said i was going to quit halfala. so whatever you may think. i am asking questions and im entitled to it because if a situation arises where such a situation exists i need to know how far the tolerance goes before a something happens. so ive made myself perfectly clear and im not going to discuss that either because its the way i am. hopefully some other problems arise like loopholes which can be closed to prevent the use of cheating a round before the tourney begins .

Everyone has the right to know what the rules are.  You don't have to arbitrarily argue over pointless things.  Hal's made the win/concede rules quite clear.  If I were he I wouldn't waste my time arguing over your opinions.

The rules are pretty clear.  Just play and have fun :)

If it is clear that the enemy has no ships or mining I will quit. If the Observer agrees with the winning, everything should be clear.

Hey, I couldn't help but notice that you have 23 participants, an uneven number. Is it too late to join up? If not, I'm fine with being place in the "group of death" as that is the uneven one.

I'd be happy to participate.. I just fear I won't get much time for "my battles"  :(

Are the times variable?

There are no set times for matches.  You just have to make sure that you complete your matches in a timly manner so you don't hold up the tournament.

What do you consider a timely manner? I'm asking because it seems I'm getting a time problem at the beginning of August, holidays and so on...

All group play matches must be completed by 08/15/2010 hell if you can manage to complete all your required matches in one day than thats not a problem.

Due to the large number of participants and some potential scheduling issues I have decided to move the tournament start date to... Right Now!

Welcome all participants to the Summer tournament.  Good luck, remember the rules, and start playing those group matches.

I hope to see you all on the field of battle.

P.S. Remember you only play matches against the others in your group two matches per player and DO NOT forget to save the logs

ok I would recommend updating your first post with all the rules cause some of us are too lazy to dig through all the responses. :D
