Who wants to fight that Auto-assims are useless and die too

You think the assim is worthless!? You think its underpowered!? Well if so, sign below and I will have a 1v1 or 2v2 you so you can see the power of Assimilate Muhahahahahahahah.... In other words I am bored feel like assimilating stuff! xD

Alone, the assimilator couldn't assimilate very much, but I know that in fleets, the assimilator has the potential to assimilate fleets of ships in seconds.  I've run up against plenty of AI assimilators to know that they can do some heavy damage even to large fleets.  And especially if they are accompanied by other vessels.  However, I would like to try to counter some, so, set up the time!

well if you're gonna limit yourself to only assimilators equipped with auto assim beams then it wont be a long battle.

if u are gonna limit yourself only to the assimilator chassis, but with varying modules it will be longer, but not that long.

if u are gonna tell people before the game what your strat will be, we will counter u

You mean you don't want me to check out the guide to counter the assimilators?  I already found a counter for assimilator spams with the Federation and the Borg.  I'm ready!

Lol I am not gonna build assims if you build their counter... I mean whats the point? I am going to show you that they can be very handy in the right situation . Anyway TCP_500 lets get on Tunngle!

FYI assim can be countered Extra easily by romulan Cehlaer Easily when special is researched

QFT. Mining gets assimilated very fast. It's really annoying and mean. You also can't get out SFC if feds. Believe me, I tried.

Very funny funystuff!  You made your point, but quit when you are winning.  Therefore, no one gets the victory.  If it wasn't for the fact that the AI took over, I would have assumed the win after you quit because you would have been eliminated upon quiting.  Your point on the assimilators was made, but the game isn't finished because you're winning.  The game is finished only when the opponent is destroyed!

And, you were only supposed to build assimilators.  But you didn't.  That's cheating!  Therefore, no one wins no matter what happened because you didn't stick with the rules of the game.

And I didn't say that I would only build assims until you told me to. Sorry if you cant handle 2 probes. I guess its cheating if I build miners lol xD

BTW i did beat your scube/probe rush with the warbirds, but you went ahead and spammed them with optimize after saying oh yea you were gona do assim avatar blah blah blah shit shit shit >.>

Anything that supports the economy of your armada isn't cheating.  Those stations that assimilate the crew and give supplies, resource nodes, resource assimilators, and assembly nodes are required.  But you made it very clear that you would only use assimilators to attack, which is not what you did.

I made this thread because a lot of people seem to think that the Assimilate Avatar isn't worth playing as well as building Auto Assimilators. So I play a match against TCR_500, build 2 probes and an Assim (which is the Assimilator Rush strategy in the guide), and I get blasted for not sticking with pure Assimilators.

Yes I said I wanted to assimilate things arash, but TCR went Borg lol... It  was a whole different ball game so I was forced to build a combat assim first, and then get auto assims. He had built 1 scout cube and 1 probe by the time I had an assim and 2 probes at his base...

Ok Arash? What are you talking about? As far as I'm concerned, we NEVER  had a game like this... For some reason, when I tell people I want to test a unit, they freak out when I don't purely spam that unit. What kind of testing is that when they know exactly what I'm going to build/spam!? They just use this information to counter me expecting an easy win...

Well I just have to say that it was very clear to me that you were just supposed to build Dyson Spheres 

I mean come on! We can make up all the crap we want here...
