Just wanted to see how many here rate the Ambassador as the favorite ship?

Hmm.... Id have to say Miranda Mk2 is my favorite, but i also love the ambasador...... its a nice ship

It's my favorite warp in ship for sure, though my current favorite fed ship in FO is the Excelsior II.

I was going over her on the pause mode, and i thought what you said mal a time ago, she is a very traditional looking Star Fleet ship.

I like all Starfleet and Federation starships, I'd have to say the Enterprise NX-01, the Sovereign-class, The Galaxy-class X-Refit and then the Ambassador-class followed by the rest of the ships from Constitution-class on.

I like them all because they all have their own uniquness and their own roles to fullfill in both the shows and in Star Trek Armada II, Fleet Ops and all the other games as well.

Oh no, that would make it even better than it is.  Its already arguably the best warp-in ship you can get.

You would have to ask the devs about why it is so, but many do consider the ambassador a better ship, probably because there is little difference in their offensive/defensive values 29/30 vs 30/35 and the Ambassador gets its special which gives +15 defense and reduces damage from topedoes for 20 seconds.  That makes it one tough ship.  If you can get one up to veteran then they gain a passive which reduces damage from phasers by 30%, Pulses by 20% and Torps by 10%.

Also the Ambassador has a speed of 120 which is 20 faster than the Galaxy and quite fast for a large cruiser.

the miranda 2 or defiant are my 2 favourite starfleet ships, never particually liked the ambassador class i see nothing unique about its design.

I like the Ambassador because it reminds me of an old (if boxy) Galaxy.

I like Galaxy more,at veteran rank it gain Modified Quantum Torps and it have better range,better DPS and its special is good too.
