Such a great guy that he couldn't be bothered to spell right in response to me, but could in response later? Give me a break! He's clearly capable of a clear response, so I'm insulted that he threw garbage at me earlier.

Dr. Lazarus wrote:I'll tell you what's disrespectful - it's an insult to other dyslexic people for Blade to imply that it permanently cripples all ability to spell. I know that this manifestly isn't the case.

We all have things we find easy and things we find hard. I'm a strong believer that even if you have an arm missing, you should make the best of your life and not make excuses. Disabled people can win Olympic competitions, even within their limitations.

In fact look at the last post Blade made. The language is mostly excellent, right? He's showing respect to his readers in doing so.

And yet you would say that generally people who are "scouse" are bad spellers.  That sounds like an excuse to me. :innocent:  I honestly think that if you have no arm, you have a good excuse to not type well.

And Blade was not saying dyslexia was his reason for using text speech or ignoring certain grammatical rules.  This is evident in his last post's eloquence.  He said his use of text speech was a choice, not something caused by an illness, or by his heritage.

And really?  You are insulted?  Think how he feels when you argue that he is not a "great guy" because of the way he chose to type a message.  That is one of the most ridiculous things I have read on this forum.  I tried really hard to take your side because I agreed with you, for the most part, but you make it very difficult when you openly and unapologetically insult other members of the forum.

No, I didn't really say scousers were bad spellers, I said we are generally not well educated - that's not the same thing.

I just generally think that it's in nobody's interest to use their diagnosis to colour every aspect of their life. That's why even though I have all the symptoms of Asperger's syndrome it was recommended to me not to get an official diagnosis - so that it doesn't define you and alter your view of what you can achieve and what you can't. Do you understand my view now?

Right I apologise if my bad spelling offended you.

But back on topic historically countries like Spain, France, Germany, Italy and the UK have all been very powerfull countries.

But the top three in my opinion are
1) UK
2) Italy
3) Germany

Yes, of course. My sister has all the symptoms of  Celiac disease, but chose not to get diagnosed because it is possible to reduce the affects without medication.  And she didn't want to be stigmatized by being labeled with a serious food allergy.

But your "point of view" is no excuse to insult other members of the forum.

That is very good of you Blade. You had no reason to apologise, and yet still did so because of how another member felt.  Maybe someone should return the favor? :whistling:

Well I do apologise, of course Blade. It wasn't your spelling which offended me, just the realisation that you can do so much better than you did towards me. But without further ado, I'm sorry.

And I agree with your list - the German-dominated Flops forum probably skewed the result a little.  :sweatdrop:

Yes I think that Fleet Ops is partly a German collaboration.

I only said Germany to suck up to the devs. :D  I honestly don't know which of you are better.  Seems like something you should fight over so you can find out.

Well remember as well that the British royal family is German, so we're actually relatives.

The Blade made good and was hammered, but gave hammering from whence it came.
The Doc made good and was hammered, but gave hammering from whence it came.

Hammering continued, wits were locked in combat, pleasantries were exchanged, insults were traded. Many good men were slain. Kissy kissy happy happy, and thus the sad tale met its happy conclusion as a tale of love, and as a lesson to never, ever dive into a public swimming pool without solid underwear.
